Mindanao, Philippines | August 2026, As momentum builds toward the Bamboost Forum 2026, the Philippines' premier event on bamboo construction and innovation, the conversation is expanding beyond the national stage and into the regions where the country's bamboo future is being shaped.

On August 7, 2026, BASE Bahay Foundation, Inc. (BASE), in partnership with Mahintana Foundation, Inc., will host Mindanao Bamboost 2026, a regional forum designed to bring together bamboo champions, government agencies, industry leaders, researchers, community organizations, and development partners to explore opportunities for accelerating sustainable bamboo development across Mindanao.

Supported by the South Cotabato Bamboo Development Council, the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), Dole Philippines, and ChildFund, the event will serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange focused on strengthening local bamboo value chains, promoting sustainable construction, generating green livelihoods, and advancing climate-resilient development.

Mindanao Bamboost is part of the nationwide journey toward the annual Bamboost Forum, which will be held on September 30, 2026, in Taguig City during the celebration of National Bamboo Month. By bringing the Bamboost experience closer to local communities, the regional forum recognizes that a strong national bamboo industry can only be built upon thriving regional ecosystems.
