WBO elects next President for 2011-2013

Mr. Michel Abadie of Paris, France, is the current WBO President, serving the term as of 1 January 2011 – 31 December 2013. A long-time supporter of international bamboo alliances, Mr. Abadie first participated in the INBAR workshop in Chiang Mai in 1991, the III IBC in Japan, and subsequent IBC’s in Bali and Costa Rica. Most recently at the 9th WBC in Bangkok, Michel gave an extraordinary presentation on bamboo in aviation history, ending with the audience on their feet, arms in the air, shouting . He is a charismatic and dedicated friend of bamboo.
